Randstad Education is proud to partner with one of Melbourne’s leading and most respected co-educational Independent Jewish Schools located in the inner-southeast. We are seeking an innovative and engaging Primary School Teacher to join their dedicated team starting in Term 3, 2026.

The Role

This is a one-year contract position with a strong possibility of becoming ongoing. While a full-time (1.0 FTE) commitment is preferred, part-time applications will be considered for the right candidate.

  • Deliver rigorous and innovative learning programs, with a preference for experience teaching Years 4-6.

  • Implement inquiry-driven teaching practices (PYP experience is highly regarded) to foster student curiosity.

  • Leverage strong content knowledge in English literacy or lower secondary mathematics to drive student excellence.

  • Effectively utilise modern technologies to enhance the teaching and learning experience.

  • Value and lead a strong, proactive approach to student well-being and pastoral care.

Successful Candidate Profile

  • Current VIT registration and appropriate tertiary teaching qualifications.

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting is required.

  • A proven track record of achieving excellence in student learning outcomes.

  • You are a dynamic classroom practitioner who works collaboratively and demonstrates a genuine commitment to the education of young people.
